EXCENTRIC and Waag Futurelab Launch two new Researcher‑in‑Residence positions on Social Impact and SROI

Waag Futurelab has launched two new Researcher‑in‑Residence calls focusing on public value, social impact and responsible digital practices in the cultural and creative sectors. The residencies are addressed to researchers working on themes connected to social impact and Social Return on Investment (SROI) and will be open until March 20.

As cultural organisations across Europe grapple with rapid technological change, there is a growing need for research that not only analyses impact but also reimagines how public value is created, shared and measured. Through these two residencies, EXCENTRIC and Waag aim to support researchers who can work at this intersection of culture, technology and society, developing new frameworks and methodologies that foreground equity, sustainability and community involvement.

Open Positions

1. Generalist Researcher-in-Residence on Social Impact

The role involves co-developing tangible social impact indicators with the cultural organizations, focused on specific topics such as loyalty and diversity.
